Hi there, I’m the owner of Little Willow Wisp Crafts Jessica McVay. I’m a mom, substitute teacher, and Psychology major working toward my doctorate. In my spare time I make handmade items that I sell on Etsy.
I started Little Willow Wisp Crafts with the intention of selling fun handmade items in order to save up for my daughter’s first trip to Disney. Since then, I decided to continue creating fun items that people can use and enjoy. I love to crochet, sew, embroider, and cross stitch. One day I’d like to get into making intricate quilts like my grandmother so keep an eye out for that! The name of my shop comes from the spritely mythological Will-o-the-wisp creatures that originate in Scottish folklore. I enjoy mythology and the whimsical feeling that comes from believing in fairies and magic. I think more people should believe in magic. I also have a love for Willow. I love the trees, the movie, and the name itself has a very special place in my heart. I hope there is a little something for everyone to enjoy here and I thank you all for your support!
